Re: GamingAccess Community Patch 2.50 => 2.80 UPDATE
Hi Xavier,
I'm still continually running up against the .NET problem with the installer. I've tried installing the framework that you link to. I've also tried uninstalling and re-installing the framework but to no avail. Part of the GACP gets installed tough, as I have kits, team and player names. Can I ask the following:
What is not installed when I get this error (scoreboards?)
Is it possible for you to provide instructions in the patch to manually do what the installer does?
Will the installer ever go back to the previous years and not be reliant on .NET?

Hello
1) Tell me if you ever installed Microsoft .NET Framework 4
if you did, you WILL NOT be able to run ANY .NET program.
Only solution is to re-install Windows
the only problem you will have is you can't run the post-installation.exe.
That program was programmed with VB 2008, and it gives you the ability to create your own PES 2011.exe, and apply the GACP patch to it.
I will not go back to VB 6.0
If you can't run .NET programs, then don't worry about it, but you won't be able to create your own PES2011.exe

Thanks for replying. My PC has Visual Studio 2010 on it which installed the .NET Framework 4. Not sure what you mean about not running any .NET program, as this clearly is not correct. Do you mean ones that target version 3 of the framework?
Can you explain what you mean about the post-installation.exe giving me the ability to create my own PES 2011.exe? Does it modify this in any way, and if so what does this allow? Is it different to what KitServer does?
