With the latest GACP which files do I alter to swap round some of the teams?
I don't want to modify any of the stats etc, just have a 'Premier League' second division which consists of only Championship teams.
As a secondary question can the number of teams in the divisions be increased or does this make the game unstable in any way?
Cheers,
Chris
download the
GamingAccess Community Patch - v2.00RC1--to--2.00RC2 update
that includes all that Coca Cola Teams playable in Master League
Now, regarding your question, changing teams or adding teams is incredibly unstable
if you do that, then start a master league, then save the file, then start it again, and see if the game collapses.
you can't add more teams in the leagues (EPL, Eredivisie, Bundesliga, Serie A...) and I think it has to be the exact same numbers of teams
on the Other Teams A and Other Teams B you can add more teams, but I think that on the Other Teams B there is a limit
I added 99 teams at one time, it still worked
I think if you put too many teams on Other Teams B, and also on Other Teams (europe) or Other teams (south america), the game collapses
I thought there may be a file that says
League 1 -> Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, Team 9, Team 12, etc
League 2 -> Team 5, Team 19, Team 23, Team 29, Team 31, etc
It sounds like the new patch will be ideal. I've downloaded it and will give it a go over the holidays.

I've applied the patch and continued playing an existing ML game. A couple of the teams changed (I think Hearts came in) but there were still non-English teams. I haven't yet tried starting a new game to see if this would be comprised entirely of Premier and Championship teams.
I've started a new ML after the patch was installed, and I've got three questions if you have a moment.
If I start with a Premier League team, how do I know which teams are in the lower division?
When I start a new ML is there a way of starting with a team from the lower division so, as in previous versions of PES, you have to earn promotion?
When you start a new ML I've seen the Cup options, but is there a way of having both the Premier League and Championship teams take part in the Cup, as that would make it much more enjoyable?

Just put 18 of your favorite Coca Cola teams in the second division and enjoy
If you select a team that is currently in the first division of the EPL, I am not sure if you can swap it, I guess you can, but I've never done that
haha
Sorry but if you're playing with, let's say, Arsenal, why on earth will you like to go to the second division?
Unless your team went to the second division a few years ago and you want to revive history, and play that comeback, yeah, I guess that will be cool
let me know if you can do that though, nobody has asked that question before
