Creating new teams in FIFA 06

I have been trying to create new teams for FIFA 06, with no luck so far. I'm trying to create some international teams and the expansion MLS clubs (Houston, Toronto, Seattle, Philly, Portland and Vancouver).

I am hoping that someone has the info on how to do this or could direct me to a tutorial on doing this. I have used both DB Master and UniDB to try and edit the FIFA.db and eng.db files, but I cannot use the teams I create. So far, I can only get the teams to show up on the menus in the game, but the game crashes when I attempt to make international selections (for Holland), nor can I use any of the teams I create in games (both national and club teams).

Also, I noticed that when I create a lineup (i.e. with the Netherlands) with DB Master, it resets my in-game rosters in the "Squads" folder. I am hoping that I can create a new team without messing with this stuff, since I have kept my rosters up to date with editing and trading players around, since 2006.

I also tried to change some K-League teams names and move them into the MLS (with Tournament Master), but the game still crashed. So, I figured I am doing something really wrong here.

So any info on creating new teams would be great. Even if someone could tell me how to edit current teams, and change their leagues so that I could add K-League teams to the MLS, and change them to be the current expansion MLS teams (playable in manager mode).
