    Default Slow FPS solution

    Nvidia users:
    1) right click desktop, select Nvidia Control Panel
    2) select Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings
    3) select gcp2009.exe, or add that executable
    4) select these options:
    Triple Buffering: On
    Vertical Sync: On
    5) Use FRAPS, and tell me how many FPS are you getting when playing the game
    6) Before running the game, free as many memory as possible

Post your comments here, I hope this helps your problem.

***** told me that kitserver uses a lot of memory, so it will be a good idea to close all your skype, msn, sidebar, windows aero (vista), firefox, chrome... programs when you're playing the game

Some people reported 'slow' FPS while playing the game at 60 FPS.

So I guess if you see parts of the screen (especially when the camera passes from one side of the soccer field to another), that are sort of out of sync, then this error can be fixed with Triple Buffering and Vsync

60 FPS is a standard frame rate, IF I use frame rate higher than 60, the game is like FAST FORWARDING. Very fast game-play. o.O

Anyway, my game runs well. Using ATI graphic cards.

with the latest nvidia drivers the refresh rate of lcd monitors can be changed to 75hz, usually i run the game with the original and 1.2 update, patches do have a dramatic affect on the gameplay sometimes you will see wierd slowdowns and think that its your videocard when its not, i strongly recommend running the game with 75hz refresh rate with no patches whatsoever already konami will release an update soon in feb 2 with 1.3 so basically any patches outthere do affect the games engine especially any changes in option file can make the game feel like fifa, original in pes 2009 is good enough those who say patches enhance the game should really play pes 2008

Well, actually 30 FPS is still good

load any iTunes movie, you'll see 30 FPS

The human eye accepts 30 FPS as animation

So if you're having values lower than FPS, then please put your comments, your hardware, and of course, tell us if you see a big difference between PES and the GA Patch

So how many FPS do you have?

Well, I'm happy that this error is not as common as I thought

    Hi Xavier,
When you use PES, Nvidia user was set up the
GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK option = compulsion ON. Usually, work is changed normally option. So An effect is in FPS.

    Is it famous?

I have problems in GTA IV as well

Sometimes, part of the video games (part in the center), are out of synch

So usually I activate Triple Buffering and Vsync.

With GTA IV I guess I'll need to disable SLI because that game was never optimized to use SLI

So it can be a bunch of things

I overclock my eVGA GTX 260 Core 216 SLI to 663 Mhz all the time, and it is rock solid in all the games

I also overclock my CPU to from 2.67 Ghz to 3.67 Ghz

In crysis at 1920x1200 high I get 54 FPS, with the CPU oc'd I get 63 FPS

So you see an increase right there

but usually, anything above 30 as your minimal FPS, and you should be good

From our patch, I know kitserver uses graphics in memory, so I guess RAM speed, ammount of RAM, and free RAM all affect that

For Windows Vista, you can disable Aero

    I don't like Aero

I use Madotate, DeskSpace and TopDesk, and it's breath taking all the crazy stuff those programs do

    3D desktop, 6 virtual desktops, Flip3D interface...

but if I need all the power, I can exit all those programs

    me ?

I think that performance down problem occures in under point.

    1. An excessive thing is not put into savefile.

many face.bin , ML data etc ,leaves only the file to be used.
According to, I feel that physical memory problem by the task manager that many memories are used. Off-course, FPS is affected.

    2. Windows system tray is made as simple as possible. Permanent residence memory is useless.

    sorry for my bad english
