Any News about Face relinking?

well the title says it all, did anybody manage to relink one of the faces? i tried many times, but since i´m not nearly on the status of an amateur in hex-editing (i can only change names of the teams, and this is one of the easyst things you could dow with hex editing) i didn´t get very far, only thing i did was to get an beard on the standrad face^^... so if yomeone successfully relinked one face, could you please tell me (and the others as well) how you did it?
