Kobe Bryant was awarded with the Finals MVP, but today it was his worst performance in many games. His point percentage was low, in the 20s, but hey, Artest and Gasol were there to save the night! The Lakers were down all the game, but in the final quarter with a Staples Center full of emotion, the Lakers were able to finally tie the game, and from there, it was a brutal game, full of fouls, emotions, and a few individual plays here and there.
Fisher scored a decisive three pointer, Gasol took down (literally), a few Boston players, and even Sasha scored some decisive 2 point throws in the last minute. So, that's the story of the worst game (speaking from a sport technique perspective) of the year, but emotionally speaking, the most incredible game in the NBA finals.I can't recall a game as emotional, dramatic as this one.
Lakers deserved to lose, but for some miracle, they lost, they had an amazing comeback, and now they are going for their second three-in-a-row championship!
I was covering the E3 Expo right next to the Staples Center, and I'll never forget the excitement of this day. People in LA are proud of their two-time champion, and hey, who knows, maybe it will be a three-in-a-row, we'll see
